HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY GUNIANG!


Assembly today and mediacorp teenage actress wu sijia came to sing, along with ms khoo's piano and mr khoo's guitar. however, something wrong with the iwres and the piano cannot be heard, so is the guitar.

She is so student, as in I don't even feel so much of her being a star when she was backstage and i was so close to her. We even "spoke". Lixuan and i agreed that from the side view she looks like Farenheit's da dong. really!

Her singing's not too bad, at least she could reach the high and low notes. but there's one part her voice kinda got cut off.

Left school after packing up, left school with suan ching, corinne and yunxuan. behind us was shermaine loo, xitheng, vivian. there was also yijing and eleanor.

Guitar performance at shenton way was marvellous.

I saw shaun tan yi song from dunman sec. he was performing for choir.
First we waited DAMN long to get into the hall and onto the stage
Next peiling and I didn't have seats and the stupid backstage guy was standing RIGHT BESIDE US and he didn't know that we didn't have seats.
Then, the ngee ann concert band's stand were SO high and unstable that peiling's file just dropped off and slided onto the ground.
It was so cold my fingers were numb that i missed a few notes. BUT IM GLAD I DIDN'T PLAY ANYTHING WRONGLY.
I didn't look at the audience at all, I only had mr shi in my eyes.

No matter how much you think you understand someone, you would still not understand the person well enough. Because whatever that you understand of the person is what the person usually portrays. However, once this person does not portray what he/she usually does, you will find that you don't understand him.

I thought my mum understood me. But I have came to know that she is getting older, because what I tell her she does not place it beside her heart anymore. She used to remember everything that I told her. Which was why I always wanted her to go watch my performances when I was younger.
It's a totally different thing now, I don't want to tell her anything. It's not because I'm being conceited, it's a series of events that had happened once before to make me change my opinion and make me grow up.
I hate it about her that she is fond of linking stuff to one another. I can tell her about something and if she is not in favour of it, she will somehow in one way or another link it to another problem or situation i once told her about and thats it, i get it all.
These few days she has been rather impatient and jumps at everything in her way. It turns me off because she's like totally making a scene out of everything. &most importantly she is constantly putting me down. A couple of days in a row, inclsive of today. I was attacked with her hurls of anger and frustrations.
It made me wanna strangle her and do bad things. I was in a foul mood actually and nothing can make me feel better, not even breaking down.

yes, I do do alot of irrelevant stuff in school that do not benefit me in any way.
But since i made a choice i should stick with it right? It's not as though I hadn't thought of giving it up before to please you, but something's holding me back and I had hoped that the something IS significant enough to have held me back.

Today, I confirmed that you don't understand me.
I thought you did, I thought you weren't like daddy who thought of me as anything else besides good things. I took it all along that it was because of his character to make him make things out that way. so i didn't bother about what he said. I always have you to understand me, to explain things to him because I didn't have the patience to.
But today I finally known, that you are just like him.

To all parents out there:
Sometimes you need to listen more to your child rather than your husband. Because a man is a male with a scheming mind. &a child is someone small who needs you to understand, to be there when tears flow and through heartache.

I was wrong about you, I kept things from you because i hadn't wanted you to do what you always do, so i kept it to me, instead you accuse me of being too busy with my school activities that I DARE NOT tell you my schedule.

Im infuriated and frustrated not because you accused me, but because I had lost someone that once knew me.

I think today kinda crawled by, but the lessons didn't seem to contain much substance
It's depressing to know that others can get A1s for everything -when i can't.
CA1 was the easiest to score but i couldn't.

Got back result slip today. It's soooooo bad i don't wanna talk about it.

CIP to simei care centre, waited for the bus for around 45 mins?

the ride there was fast.

Basically, we were there too early so we were asked to think of games to play with the members there.

We seriously took a LONG time to think, we were not creative enough actually.

Mr neo slacked at one corner while we were discussing.

It was cool actually, I was worried about being unable to interact with them and all, or unable to understand them or whichever, but i was so wrong.

they were so normal. really.

I still remember a couple of names. I think it should be safe to mention it here wouldn't it? i mean, there would be millions of similar names right, i won't get sued right? lols!

I know there's mei hui, su po hua, siti, annie, raffi, clara, miao ling, charmaine ong, priscilla bang, hu hong, siew hiock..

oh wow, you know miao ling right, she is SO BILINGUAL! grace and i were shocked. haha because we were speaking to her in mandarin and all of a sudden she said, "You can speak to English to me" and she said it soooo fluently. I was surprised, i don't know why.

I just seem to have that already twisted mindset that they are low or something. But I was so wrong. they are normal people actually. just too stressed up, that's all.

we played an ice breaker game -concentration. it was actually fun! haha as in i never thought of it as a fun game, but the members seem to have fun and it was a comforting sight to see them participating.

And it really did made me get to know their names!

After concentration, we played the money game.

All of us are a value.

Im fifty cents!

mei hui, charmaine ong, su po hua, grace, priscilla bang, evan, timothy and shermaine are all fifty cents too.

there are two other groups which are ten cents and one dollar people.

so guan xiang will shout out a number and then we have to form groups of the value.

It was hard, coz we ended up gaving too little of something. there's always too little ten cents around.

After that (i thought we were going to play bartop, which was to slide the soap across the table) but we just all of a sudden played zhong ji mi ma; guess the number. so yeah, grace was facilitator. range of numbers were 1-200 for the first two rounds. first round priscilla bang guessed the number and she got a packet of crackers i think.

but the second round was forfeit, one guy guessed it so we were to ask him five questions and he must answer it -that's his forfeit.

the last round! im so lucky la, i guessed it right. and so they said my forfeit was to be more challenging. they wanted me to dance but then later on ms matha too asked me to say jokes.

I said the one on HAPPY whatever whatever whatever, guess it's gender, occupation, surname etc.

and the other one on the bird flying under the aeroplane and how it died.

I don't know if they understood me but it was funny.

because this guy said that because the bird very blur that's why it dropped down from the sky and died.

i gave obvious clues la actually and someone guessed it. i forgot who.

But i gotta thank ms khoo for providing the jokes because she told this two jokes during ss lesson today. AHAHAH!

and thanks 3C people who heard the joke already but was spontaneous enough to give a response to liven up the atmosphere..

after that we went back to our room and the rest had to do something which i was NOT ALLOWED TO. =/ haha some reasons i can't say.

then there was a Q&A. which i learnt alot more about the members. i think it's a worthwhile trip there, because the members had fun and we learnt something. and it's the first time i see the guys in our class so serious. =D

there was no bus to bring us back. (i thought there was)

walked to the mrt with priscilla, shermaine,evan and grace.

evan, shermaine, grace and i alighted at tampines, priscilla didn't because she didn't bring her wallet with her.

we were going to watch THE LEAP YEARS.

shermaine and evan the two lazy bums went to check the timings at tm coz they were lazy to walk to cs.
so grace and i went. evan complained that we were walking so slowly when she called us to tell the timing and we haven't reached the cinema. (we had a further distance to walk!)

cs didn't have the leap years anymore. THAT'S SUPER WEIRD. CENTURY SQUARE IS EITHER NOT UPDATED OR TRYING TOO HARD TO BE NOT OUTDATED. LOL.

met up again and macs and ate there. started talking about vegetables to being fussy about food and then to facial masks etc.

went up to buy tickets after eating, then went to foodcourt to chat and wait for the time to pass.

didn't really chat but it was noisy because i was talking to evan who was sitting opposite me and on grace's right and shermaine's left.

Grace who was sitting beside me was talking to shermaine and she was opposite shermaine who's on on my left. get it? the table's round.

just started blabbering about results, psle, primary school, younger siblings, height, BOOTS, secrets etc.

the show was not too bad, excluding evan's consistent coughing and EXPLODING laughter.

but i think we were whispering alot during the moooovie.

going to vist some slightly mentally patients? i hope i can contribute some help. i didn't really do much during the trip to lions home last year. and it made me so guilty. coz i had the heart to do so, but didn't have the way to.

i realised that im more of a can-talk-to-seniors-kind of person. im pretty able to get along with teachers kind of age too. but im not very good with juniors and little kids. and elderly that are around 58 and above? i mean like those really old ones, they really put me in an awkward position because i don't know how to converse with them. and i don't dare to "touch" them coz they seem so brittle.

okay whatever.

i found teachers who care about me today.
And there are nice teachers in school.
i love mr chan, ms lee and mdm hidayah.
love them to bits.

actually cai shu jun lao shi is a nice teacher too, if you know her personally. she's nice to me. and she's willing to reach out a helping hand.
wang biyu laoshi is nice too, i talked to her today during ptc.

talked to cailaoshi, mr chan and wang bi yu laoshi during ptc. haha and chit chat with the councillors talked about some private stuff and hilarious ones too!

TODAY IS SUCH A BUSY DAY.
BECAUSE I WAS SAIGANG WARRIOR.

Was SUPPOSED to be doing pa, but the juniors could handle it backstage, I helped mrs lim to move chairs then went to the tower hall to set up a mic there. I was also asked by ms wong to do the computer thingy. for dr boon's slideshow.
I just sat there the first part of the event, until the second reverend took over then i escaped!
Oh yar, juwel and jiajie recited the eagles creed, they didn't ask us to repeat after them! I couldn't remember so i just mouthed.. it was only at that part on the leadership something then i remembered that sentence but after that i mouthed again.

After i escaped, proceeded to the canteen to have a drink of water, later yunxuan and jasmine canme down to eat as well. their duty was starting, so they had to go to their positions.
I HAD NOTHING TO DO!
so played with the umbrellas for a while then went to the stadium to see if the mic there was set up.
(it was raining heavily then)
when to the tower hall to slack. guides were there managing the refreshments and they were slacking again.
priscilla asked me to arm wrestle with her. then suddenly so many other people came to arm wrestle with me. lol.
-guides are strong! like wow, those who didn't really look strong were strong too.
It was stopped when the teacher over there asked the chairs to be arranged properly.

I stepped out of the tower hall and was immediately told by joey that ms lee wants the mic in stadium to be changed. lol, called mr teo to ask him where's the portable then i remembered that i saw it in tower hall so i took it from tower hall and brought it to the stadium but they didn't need it anymore. LOL it was heavy la. *phew*

When the GOHs, parents, some students and teachers proceeded to the tower hall for refreshments, councillors were sheltering them across to the tower hall, it somehow looks like a taxi stand.
i grabbed an umbrella and hurried to council room to get my bag. Then i went to lock avt and then returned the key at GO. Went to place my bag down in the pa room at tower hall before going to the stadium to retrieve the portable and return it to mr teo's office.
returned to tower hall. AND HAD REFRESHMENTS!!! all thanks to luo lao shi, ms lee yilian, danielle and vanessa for helping me take. AHAHAHA!

I was chatting with ms lee about cow.
and i told her what i got for math ca1
she was so shocked! lol
anyway, we talked for a while only before she left to pass food to mrs lim and cai lao shi who were unable to come down for refreshments because of tutorial lessons with 4K.
Requested by the students as there was common test tomorrow and they wanted extra tuition.
