I feel so sad.
All of a sudden I am overwhelmed with this sadness.
And when I'm sad, i think.

And I become more sad.

.Parents Teachers' Conference with Mrs Kah

Today we had parents teachers conference.
It was all very normal like my mum asking stuff and such.
But then I asked Mrs Kah to explain to my mum how am I like because my mum was commenting about the little miss naughty book she was like, "you must be nuaghty in class is it!" haha in a joking manner

Well, part of me actually wants to know what Mrs Kah has to say actually.
And I felt that she actually know me.
Like she knows I have a serious side and a fun side.
And she said I'm smart, I ask good questions that make you think.
Shows that I am thinking too.
That I am constantly thinking.
That I know when to have fun and when not.

I just felt really good about it.
And when I said, for the very last time, "Bye Mrs Kah"
I don't even dare to look at her.

I only heard her, "Bye!"

.The day Mrs Kah left.

Today Mrs Kah left.
We gave her our notes and a digital photoframe.

Today we had our class photo taking session.

We held on to balloons and our little miss and mr men books that Mrs Kah gave us.

I am Little Miss Naughty! and this is what she wrote in the book.
"Hey Charmaine, don't be upset that I call you 'little miss naughty', you must understand that I say it with endearment! Thanks for being such a cute and fun-loving person in class! Lessons are not quite the same without you! You might not be conscious but I do think you have positively influenced the class without you realising it. You definitely helped to raise the spirits of  the class when things get tired! Keep it going ok! You take care too! -Mrs Amy Kah"

Today I had Interact farewell ceremony in the auditorium.

I was the emcee and I think I did great :D

I once thought I am someone who will go all out to do things for my future partner.
Come to think of it, I think I might be one of those who wants him to take care of me instead.

It's the Council investiture today.
But I couldn't make it back.
Because I have a handover rehearsal in school today!

.My civics tutor cried today.

Today we had a long assembly talk about our cohort's SA results.
Apparently half of us aren't doing well.
When we got  back to class for CME lessons, everyone was just not talking and all.
I didn't feel like it's because of the lecture we were given at the hall but..
Our ivics tutor Mrs Kah came in and she was saying that she won't scold us anymore.
And then she started asking us if we want to move forward together as a class.
But not everyone answered her and she kept asking and asking.
And then all of a sudden her voice shivered and she was tearing.
"I don't know why I'm suddenly so emotional, but I feel helpless that I'm just a gp tutor and I can't help you out in any other subjects. Furthermore I will be leaving at the end of this month, I really want to leave with a peace of mind."

I was so touched!
I wanted to tell her "Mrs Kah, it's okay."
But I just couldn't get the words out.

It's kimberley's birthday tomorrow but no one bothers.
It's not because it's her birthday.
It's just because everyone takes it for granted that the people who always plan out a birthday, will do it.
It's supposed to be a class thing!

I was really irritated just now and I really had 3/4 mind to send out a lecture sms to everyone.
BUT rationale stopped me.

BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE IS AS NICE AND AS UNDERSTANDING AS ME!
If they were, things wouldn't be like today.

Whatever.

I went to buy a cake from four leaves, despite my mum nagging behind my back.
Chocolate classico from four leaves!
It looks simply delicious!
Hahahaha, now all my irritatedness is goneeeeeeeeeee!

I can't wait to go to school tomorrow! :D

.Eclipse, Twilight SAGA

I WENT TO WATCH ECLIPSE TODAY!
-ALONE.
AT CENTURY SQUARE SHAW
BUT I DON'T CARE!

Javier commented that watching a movie alone gives the impression that you don't have friends
And I told him, who cares if others think I don't have friends, just as long as I know I have. Period.

The movie was I guess better than New Moon, but it still isn't good!
But who cares, the whole series is gonna end.
But argh, i heard that Breaking Dawn is gonna be in two parts!
WHY!
Why do film directors always make the last sequel a two part movie?
It's so Harry Potter-ish.

I think there were pretty alot of abrupt scenes in Eclipse.
Like jumping from one scene to another..
But I don't think people really care just as long as they see hot bod Jacob-Taylor Lautner and smooching scenes between Edward-Robert Patz and Bella-Kristen Stewart.

I must admit, the kissing scenes were APLENTY.

The day I went to watch Nine Temples was the day my class went to Mrs Kah's house.
It was on Youth Day!!

It was fun at Mrs Kah's house though we didn't really do much.

we kind of celebrated Ain's birthday there too.

Inception is a 2010 science fiction action film written, produced and directed by Christopher Nolan.

PLOT.

The film opens with Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) unconscious on a beach. He is found by an armed guard and brought into the chamber of an elderly man, who speaks to him cryptically. Cobb is carrying a small metal "totem" and a gun with him.


The plot cuts back to reveal a crime inside a dream, performed by Cobb and his team, including a "point man", Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a forger who can shift his identity inside the dream; Eames (Tom Hardy); and an "architect" named Nash (Lukas Haas) who crafts and maintains the balance of the dream world. They are inside the mind of Saito (Ken Watanabe), who, unbeknownst to them, is aware of their deception and is "auditioning" them for his own crime.

The rules of the dream world are explained: if an individual is hurt in the dream world, they will experience pain in a very real sense. But if they die in the dream, they will merely wake up.

The team and Saito are brought back to the real world (in England), where they are joined by a mysterious device in a briefcase that injects "compounds" into their systems, lulling them into a shared dream experience. Saito's company ultimately lets the team go, save for Nash.

Cobb recruits a new architect, a student named Ariadne (Ellen Page), who is already highly skilled at the practice. While inside Cobb's mind, she sees and slowly comes to understand what is haunting him: a vision of his deceased wife Mal (Marion Cotillard) that continuously disrupts his dream world.

The team learns of Saito's job: "inception", implanting an idea into another person's mind. Their target is Robert Fischer Jr., son of a late corporate rival. The idea is a complex emotional suggestion that will ultimately lead Fischer to disband his father's empire. To achieve their goal, Cobb's team will have to pass down through several levels, each a "dream" within the last. Time slows down with each level, as in 5 minutes of real time would equal an hour in the first dream, 10 hours in the next, and so on.

At the bottom of this, there is a "limbo" state that can trap a person for an indefinite amount of time. We learn that Cobb and Mal spent many years in that state, before coming back to reality as their "younger" original selves. They clung to "totems", tiny objects carried to remind the dreamer of their state. Cobb's totem was carried in the opening scene and appears frequently. He suggests that in his dreams, it spins indefinitely.

Mal suffered a psychological breakdown after waking from limbo, convinced that the real world was still to come after her death. She leapt out a window with Cobb watching but unable to intervene, leaving the police a letter indicating her depression, and his supposed guilt. Cobb subsequently fled the country.

The team boards a small plane occupied by Fischer, drugging him without his knowledge, and entering into a dream with him. They have help from Yusuf (Dileep Rao), the chemist who developed the compounds inherent in the technology. Inside the first level, Cobb finds the disoriented Fischer and impersonates a dream security officer, commonly hired by businessmen, who are led to believe. Cobb earns Fischer's trust while at the same time revealing to him that they are in a dream. With the rest of the team, they build successive realities, eventually reuniting Fischer with a vision of his father (impersonated by the forger), who implants the vital suggestion. Unfortunately, Saito has been shot and sent into limbo. Cobb stays behind to find him, now as an old man, and the context of the opening scene is revealed.

Everyone wakes up, alive and well. As per his deal with the powerful Saito, Cobb is given leeway to re-enter the United States. He is reunited with his children. The final shot shows his totem, in mid-spin, beginning to wobble. The scene then cuts to black, leaving it up the viewer to decide if it's a dream or reality.

.Inception & ZhenBang's Birthday

Inception.
This is the second movie I'm watching with some of my classmates from 10S08.
The first was Nine Temples, a Thailand horror movie.
I forgot if I wrote about it, so I'm just pointing it out in this post.

Anyway, today is ZhenBang's birthday!
Happy 17th Birthday Zhenbang!!

We had a birthday cake cutting session in school.
The cake was really great!
I had two cubes of it xD
It was New York Cheesecake from Bakerzin!
OMG, damn nice!
I think it was finally something refreshing from all the chocolate cream, oreo, coffee, durian cakes and J.CO donuts we had had for all the past birthdays.

After that, OG wanted to flour Zhenbang, but it turned out to be an epic fail.
Besides getting chided by the caretakers and cleaners we had to clean up the place like really quick.
The mood was really dampening and I think the weather got to do with it too.
Plus the amount of people present, related or not. @.@

Anyway, javier, nellyn, jasmine, zhenbang and I went to Tampines Mall Ding Tai Fung to eat!
OMG, the food super nice!
hahahaha i just really had the appetite for it.
And after that we just talked really long. Really.
Funny thing was we talked about dreams; falling in dreams, hearing in dreams, close to reality dreams.
and we talked about windmills and we talked about riddles.

And all these have everything to do with Inception.

Oh and we "bought" zhenbang an octopus, 6 bucks!
It was for charity actually.
Then Juz came, Zhenbang left to meet his other friends, Jasmine had to leave because of curfew and the rest of us went to watch Inception.

It's a really cool moive!
I admit the initial part had me wanting to just sleep in the cinema, but the later part was pretty amazing and mind boggling.

But for those who hate movies with alot of dialogue and cliff hanging ending, please do not watch.
Oh and don't watch when you are feeling tired.
Because in the whole show, you are pratically dreaming, or should I say, watching people sleep and dream and die and wake up.
Or slip into limbo.

It was all in all a good show (to me)

The kiss between Ellen Page and that Clean Shaven Guy was EPIC.
HAHAHHHAHA nice one.

Nellyn took a taxi home, while juz and I were waiting for one with her, nellyn and I did an amazing thing.
We whistled at the same time, stopped at the first two notes and started laughing.
Then we realised we were about to whistle the EXACT same tune.
Wow.

.To believe or not to

Sometimes I think that my life is all planned out.
And it gives me more reason than not to believe in fate.

The first thing I told myself when I got back my Olevel results was.
Okay, I'm, not really gonna care about which JC I go to.
The most important thing is focusing on my studies and at the end of this two years, we are all gonna sit for the Alevels.

Besides that, I told myself that I'm gonna be really really low profile.

Poof, after like 2 months of school all this inspirational thoughts just went poof!
I am a peer counsellor.
I am a house rep.
I am a math rep.
I didn't go for the Interact camp that was supposed to spot potential leaders.
After the camp, I was notified that I'm supposed to go for the exco interview.
I didn't go for the exco interview, because I felt I didn't have the passion for Interact to motivate me to slog for it.
A few days after I know about the new committee of Interact, I received an sms from one of my fellow house reps to have a meeting to vote for a new house captainand vice captain.

The deal was, if you have a cca position, you can't be the cap or vice cap.
Okay, alright, oh wow, I became the vice captain of my house.
The winning house, Eagle.

If you think about it like I did, it was mind boggling.
Like one after the other.
Like I'm a tiny boat and I want to go out to sea, but the tiny waves are pushing me back to shore.

Sometimes I really do want to beleive in fate.
It gives me more reason to look forward and not look back.

My MYE results suck big time.
But, I'm NOT gonna retain.
It's a waste of time.
It's a waste of effort.
The first thought I had when the word retain came into my mind
-No, not in this school.

I don't despise this school. But many others do, they probably just don't show it.

It takes only a minute to make and impression but forever to change it.
Maybe 10 years down the road tpjc will be taking in 10> o level scorers, but in the eyes of those who lived through time, tpjc was a school with a "bad" reputation.

What a drastic contrast, Anglican High, the prestigious school and Tampines Junior College.
I feel sad sometimes and feel like giving up.
I feel the disappointment in myself.

But if I'm not gonna work hard, I'm not gonna go anywhere.

And a piece of terrible news.
Park Yong Ha was found dead at his home in Seoul yesterday, 30th June, hanged by the slender cable of his mobile phone charger. Park, 33, who was midway through a singing tour of Asia, was among a small cadre of South Korean stars who dominate the domestic film and television scene.


No suicide note was found but the immediate cause of the actor's misery appears to have been the strain of caring for his terminally ill father.
